Assistant Manager – Global Sourcing and Supply Chain:

Assist the general manager in managing and coordinating all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of textile materials needed to meet industry and product demands. Use quantitative data and analysis to identify shortcomings in current procedures and develop solutions for streamlining business operations and supply chain processes. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of high-quality clothing materials. Meet with the executive team to identify and track key metrics and understand the overall health and performance of the company. Create quantitative models and simulations with current data to identify deficient areas in the supply chain and global sourcing operations. Oversee the implementation of established solutions in the company’s business procedures and supply chain processes. Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to vendors while minimizing transportation costs. Continuously monitor and report on the global sourcing operations and supply chain processes to identify ways to improve efficiency. Stay abreast of trends in the clothing and fashion industry to incorporate more efficient and effective solutions in the company’s business operations.

Requirements:

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related position.

The position requires skills and knowledge in SAP certification, ERP, Adobe Photoshop, CAD, and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). The position involves incidental travel, 1 % of the time, not more than several days a few times a year in the U.S.

40 hours/week.
